Jeff Cheever

As the new Junior Program Manager Jeff is really excited to get involved with such a prestigious cycling organization. Coming from Colorado, he’s heard about and seen these kids in action and it's fun to finally get involved as a coach.

He grew up in Denver, Colorado, and enjoyed riding his mountain bike at an early age exploring the neighborhood trails and playing in the dirt. He didn't get into competitive cycling until my early 20's as soccer was my sport of choice at the time. For the past eight years, Jeff lived in the central Rocky Mountains outside Vail, Colorado due to the massive mountains with big climbs and big descents and incredible high country singletrack.

In 2016, he won the 19-29 Cat 1 USAC Regional XC Championships hosted in his hometown of Vail, Colorado, earning a USAC Pro License. Empowering our youth to get on bikes and live a healthy, active lifestyle is why he believes in El Grupo and why he’s here.

Riding a bike changed his life in a positive way and Jeff wants to share his experiences with these future generations.
