Youth Bikepacking, Riding Together

Among our youth bikepacking team, something pretty cool is happening. The old days of splitting youth bikepacking teams into "unsupported" and "supported" groups is fading away. Now it's about unity and growing, together. This fresh approach encourages teamwork and skill-sharing among riders ranging from 12 - 18 years of age.

What's even cooler is building a curriculum designed to shift from supported rides to self-supported ones. This gradual change allows young bikepackers to level up their skills over time, becoming more confident and self-reliant adventurers.

The end game? To equip these youngsters with the skills and confidence they need to blaze their own trails, plan their own trips, and handle whatever comes their way. It's a fantastic journey, watching these riders evolve from rookies to self-sufficient bikepackers. Moving from heavy support to self-reliance is all about building independence and confidence. We cannot wait to see what this year’s Bikepacking team achieves!
